You can look up and copy any postal code on this site without an account, without giving your name or email, and with all analytics blocked. There are no ads, and we do not sell any data. This page lists what each tool records.

Hosting and Cloudflare Web Analytics

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and block attacks, Cloudflare handles every request, as any web host does. Cloudflare's privacy policy (opens in a new tab) covers that processing.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It loads for everyone, sets no cookies, and does not use your browser's storage. It records:

• which page was viewed
• the site you came from, if your browser shares it
• your country
• your browser, operating system, and device type (phone, tablet, or computer)
• how long the page took to load

It does not identify you, and we cannot see who you are from it.

Google Analytics (only if you allow it)

A small notice asks whether you want to allow Google Analytics. It does not load unless you tap Allow. If you tap No thanks, or ignore the notice, it never loads and the site works the same.

If you allow it, Google Analytics sets its own cookies in your browser. It records the pages you view, how you arrived, your approximate location, and your browser and device. It never receives what you type in the search box or the codes you copy. We remove the query part of each page address, where search text can appear, before anything is sent.

Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, so the notice does not come back on every page. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the choice, and the notice appears again.

Error reports

The error report and question form asks what your message is about, the page, your message, and, if you know it, the correct code. It does not ask for your name. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is sent by a person, not a bot. Each message becomes a task for us to review.

You can also give your email address if you want a reply. It is optional. We store it with your message, use it only to answer that message, and never share it, sell it, or add it to a mailing list. We remove it once we have replied. Messages are stored in a Cloudflare database.

Please do not put other personal details, such as your name or phone number, in your message.

Old links

This site used to have different page addresses. When someone opens an address we do not recognise, our server logs the path and the names of any parameters, so we can fix the link. For old links that carry a post, page, or attachment number, such as ?p=123, it also logs that number. It does not log any other parameter values.

Security reports

If a page tries to load something our security rules do not allow, your browser may send us a short report. Our log line for it holds only the rule, the website the blocked item came from, and the page address without anything after a question mark. It leaves out the full address of the blocked item and any code from the page.

Changes to this page

If anything the site records changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
